Account & Security

How do I register a Bitget account through this site's link?

Click the Bitget account opening button on this site and complete registration with your email or mobile number on the page that opens; do not enter through other promotional links or search results first. Registering through a referral link may entitle you to benefits or rebates under Bitget's official referral program; the exact rates, conditions and validity period are as stated on the registration page and in Bitget's official rules, and this site does not guarantee any amount.

Which security settings should I set up first after registering with Bitget?

We suggest completing these in order: set a strong login password, enable two-factor authentication (2FA) such as Google Authenticator, set a funds password and turn on the anti-phishing code. Complete these settings before you make a deposit to reduce the risk of your account being compromised. The verification methods available are as shown in the "Security Center" in the Bitget app.

What is Bitget's anti-phishing code and what is it for?

The anti-phishing code is a string of characters you choose yourself, and emails that Bitget sends you will include it. If an "official email" you receive is missing the anti-phishing code or shows a different one, it may be a fake, so do not click any links in it.

What is a withdrawal address whitelist, and should I enable it?

With the whitelist enabled, withdrawals can only be sent to addresses you have added and confirmed in advance, so even if someone else logs in to your account, it is harder for funds to be moved to an unknown address. If you often withdraw to fixed addresses, enabling it is recommended; availability and how it takes effect are as per Bitget's official instructions.

What should I do if I forget my Bitget login password or cannot use 2FA?

On the login page you can use "Forgot password" to reset your password by email or phone verification. If you lose Google Authenticator because you changed phones, you will need to apply to reset verification on the official page and complete identity verification. This usually takes some time to review, and some functions (such as withdrawals) may be restricted in the meantime. Always do this through the official app or website.

What should I do if I suspect my Bitget account has been compromised?

First change your login password immediately and re-bind 2FA, check your device management and login records, remove any devices and API keys you do not recognise, and then submit an appeal through the official customer support channel. Never give verification codes, seed phrases or passwords to a stranger who claims to be "customer support".

How can I identify a fake Bitget website or app?

Fake websites and impersonated customer support are common scams. Only reach Bitget through its official website, its official app store pages or the links provided on this site, and check the domain name before you log in. Official Bitget staff will never ask you for your password, verification codes or private keys.

If you register through this site's dedicated link, we may earn a commission from the broker, part of which may be shared as a rebate under agreed terms. Amounts are not guaranteed and are subject to the official rules.
